Ten easy steps to control high blood pressure

Hypertensive crisis or high blood pressure kills people. It is known as the silent killer. Although it is not considered as a deadly disease without proper care it will drive us to the path of death.

In the initial phase, major symptoms of high blood pressure are insomniac, heart-beat increases, the feeling of dizziness, etc. Due to negligence in the treatment of high blood pressure, this will cause serious problems like heart attack, kidney failure and mental disorder.

Changing lifestyle or maintaining a balanced diet can reduce the risk of high blood pressure. According to the physician and specialist, blood pressure can be easily controlled at home, which is listed below.

  1. Guava: People suffering from high blood pressure need to eat guava in enough amount. Guava consists of a lot of potassium, which controls high blood pressure.
  2. Banana: It contains potassium which reduces the amount of salt level in the body. Daily consumption of 2 or 3 pieces of banana is very beneficial to maintain blood pressure levels.
  3. Cardamom: We find an anti-oxidant agent in cardamom that helps to maintain blood pressure. So every morning in an empty stomach take two pieces of cardamom and mix with 1 cup of water and drink, this is helpful in controlling blood pressure level.
  4. Ginger: Make a habit of consuming ginger in your dinner set. Ginger does contain a lot of antioxidant agents that help in the blood circulation system of our body in a proper way.
  5. Black pepper: Mix one tablespoon of black pepper powder in half a cup of water and stir it, apply heat for few minutes, after heating let it be cooled and drink it every two hours of time fraction in equal amount.
  6. Lemon and water: Cut a piece of lemon into two parts and take each part and squeeze it to mix with 1 cup of water and people suffering from hypertensive crisis should drink this syrup as a daily dose and also repeat this process for three to four times per day.
  7. Tulasi (a kind of holy basil plant) leaf: A mixture of 'Tulasi' leaf juice and water in little amount and making habit of consuming early in the morning in an empty stomach helps to maintain high blood pressure.
  8. Fenugreek: Take one tablespoon of fenugreek and mix it in one cup of water and boil the mixture. After boiling, leave it to cool and serve yourself.
  9. Myrobalans and Honey: Daily intake of one tablespoon of myrobalan fruit juice and one tablespoon of honey during morning and evening time can minimize high blood pressure and boost our immune power to fight against disease.
  10. Wheat bread and Gram bread: Mix both wheat powder and gram powder in equal amount and make bread and you can serve as alternatives for breakfast. This food helps in the proper digestion system and also helps to control blood pressure.
