Do dreams always give you wings?

Dream… a word, a single word but a whole lot of emotions. Fear, excitement, enthusiasm, struggle, disturbing thoughts, everything. A pain, a suffering within. In fact, the very reason to live the next day. I have read it often, dreams give you wings. I would partially agree since it becomes the reason for motivation. Another person is constantly reassuring you of their perception and view on how good you are doing but it doesn’t mark up this difference. But not always, I repeat not always. Sometimes dreams can be suffocating, it leaves you confide in a box of thought. It's a trap, because the more you succeed, it is not going to relax, it demands more sacrifice, you just become a slave to it.

Is sky really the limit ? Where are we heading? To this uncertain ocean where everything set foot in uncertainty. Another person arrives, change of direction, another situation exists, change of propaganda, another time phase runs, change of belief, why is there so much pressure to chase a dream? I know that philosophical answer, everyone is so desperate to answer with, it’s the way we live because god sent everyone of us with a purpose and blah… blah… Emotions are central part of experience.  Being stuck with empty thoughts occupying your head even before conscious mind is fully awake is not always okay. Wait ! there is the problem. Yes, to the hilt. Why can't the mind just stop at what it is thinking. One uttering of words and aye, start of chronology of thoughts. Please stop it. I know thoughts only end up thinking when you are dead. But you know, you are the reason why we have a lot of emotional problems and you are the reason people receive anxiety attacks, heartache, migraine headaches. Why do you work in equivocation ? A sudden news and you start producing hormones of happiness, sadness, jealousy, edginess ?

Ok, see let’s come straight to the point. The most wondrous part of brain is it’s amazing plasticity.  You are the one that gave me vision about possibility in the world. Ofcourse, anything is possible as one cannot really think that is impossible, I read in one book. But you are making me suffer. Counting every move, wishing everyday to be better than the earlier day, understanding strategies to conquer, compete with your kind, get influenced by their vibes and above all giving up on sleep. Probably sleep is the most underrated thing when it comes to happiness. I might sound so naive when I admit it. I remember a sleepless night before the exam, I was happy for completing my syllabus, I was prepared but that made me feel something was wrong, something was missing. Same goes to the night before a school picnic, that sleepless night, that sleepless night after listening scary ghost stories. At that moment of time, you just endure and whim for that night to end to see the morning. Destroying a calm sleep that rejuvenates the soul is a reason I dislike about you.

A person is never satisfied, everyday s/he has a new voyage to set in. Are dreams meant to snag peace of mind. Can somebody please relax and see everything in laze. Rewind memories, enjoy the present. Seriously, why is this pressure for tomorrow? It just kills the moment. Whenever I watch music videos, the background dancers waiting for one big move, to cut a dash in front of casting director, that one boy who is more hardworking, talented and deserving, right next to the lead actor, waiting everyday, blaming his fate, craving for favourable luck, ugh… disgusting to even imagine. Or that lead actress, who was a new gen revolution in her era, replaced by someone else, replaced by age, replaced by firm skin, well-fitted physical appearance, seduced by her own husband, her dream seems like a distant star now because she is ignored, she has nothing to interest people. Don't old people have dreams? Ofcourse, they have. But why don’t you give them free time even in their retired life? We have a life and we might not have much time here.

Dreams, you are completely biased. You are totally flawed.
