I read somewhere about this story of “Acceptance and Ignorance and Revocation”. Once a woman was standing in the place where Buddha was sharing knowledge with his disciples. Outraged to see that all the villagers, like the lathes, have been made disciples in ocher robes, she cursed: 'What have you done to spoil the sons of the world? Aren't you ashamed?? She explained the anger that has been lingering in her mind for many days; she explored all.
The Buddha just listened quietly. She didn't get any response from Buddha. The women get exhausted and she returned home.
After this, Buddha's students were amazed. Some disciples were disappointed to see the teacher insulted. One of them asked the Buddha, "You have not given any answer to the woman even after get insulted by her? Why? Why you were too much silent?
Smiling, the Buddha took an apple in front of him and turned to the disciple and asked, 'Babu! I gave you this apple, but if you don't take it, who will have it?
Then he said; Definitely this apple will be with you.
And the Buddha smiled.
So, what we can learn from this story is we should accept the reality, also, we can ignore the reality, we can accept something but also we cannot respond. Furthermore, we shouldn't act it if it is not beneficial for us.
Let's not take an arrogance and anger from others. Let's stop expecting from others. This will make us happy and satisfied. The rumours and negative things from others are temporary and don't affect us . So it's better to ignore them. “We must think what's in it for me?” if there is not anything else then do move. Don't stuck there.
Mind your own business, somebody gave you something, you didn't take it, then it's not yours. So, be cool and don't think that what other people say to you and your work.
Mind your own business.
Our business can only be successful when we have belief for our own life. What we are doing is just for ourselves, to create for ourselves. And yes nothing can change and take out own way.
Happy Buddha Jayanthi.
Peace and Peace.
We are responsible to create a peaceful mind, and no one can disturb it.
