The strength of the Graham is that it has a certain boyish charm. These high-end watches are a little over the top. They don’t take themselves too seriously, just like adults carrying around a giant Nerf gun to make themselves feel cooler. These steel-cased watches are available in a few different dials, are 47mm wide (not including the crown and pushers), and come with a rubber strap. I like that the cases are mostly polished. Inside the watch is Graham’s G1733 automatic movement. This is probably a Dubois-Depraz movement. It has a large date indicator, a 30-minute chronograph, and an oversized GMT hand. In fact, the more I look at this large GMT hand, the more I like it. I’m liking GMT chronographs more and more these days, as I find them useful for traveling. I prefer the ones with a full 12-hour chronograph, though. Hell, even the “GMT” label on the dial is this big.
In addition to the rubber strap, there’s also an alligator leather strap available, which should work well. As far as Graham watches go, this is a great watch if you want to try a large watch that will draw attention.
